The show I am watching the most this summer, is Burn Notice. Later this month in July, I plan to start watching Suits again as well. I love both these series a lot! My hopes are, that Psych will be back too.

You said that already :)

I'm still waiting for Childrens Hospital to premiere on the 25th. Until then I'm watching Rizzouli & Isles and Perception on TNT. I don't know what it is with cable channels and shows on during the summer, but at least there's something to watch.

I also started watching Under the Dome, which is better than I expected but I'm not completely sold just yet.

There are SO many great shows on this summer, it's hard for me to keep up with all of them.  I've been relying a lot on Hulu to stay current on all my shows, because I'm trying to watch so many this summer.  Here are the main shows I am watching this summer, in no particular order.

Pretty Little Liars

Teen Wolf

Whodunnit

Big Brother

Twisted

Mistresses

I am also looking forward to The Vineyard, it's set to air at the end of this month on ABC Family, and the new Netflix original series 'Orange Is The New Black' is supposed to be available on Netflix this week.

I've watched the first 2 episodes of Under the dome, and it's really good. I never read the book, but I heard it was also pretty good and I might pick it up after the series ends. I'm also watching Falling Skies, Frankiln and Bash, Perception and Twisted. The first 3 shows I mentioned I watched last year and I loved them, and Twisted I just started watching and it is a really good show. It's on ABC Family, and it's a really good mystery. I also plan on watching Ray Donavan. I used to watch Dexter, but after last year I'm giving up on it, I thought last season was horrible.

What do you guys think about Mistresses? It is a step down from All My Children from what I hear

I haven't read Under the Dome so I had no expectation going into the show. I like a good thriller and it looks like one. I've seen only the first episode so I don't remember their names yet. It is obvious town mayor, or whoever the guy who tipped the waitress was, is in on what is going on.

I am going to need the teenager who've taken the girl hostage be slashed into two perfect halves soon. He is a monster

I am currently watching Burn Notice this summer. It is the season finale. I have watched it from day one, and enjoy it a lot. I am also waiting on Suits to start back up again this month. I am not too sure, what I will do when Burn Notice ends. I hope they get another good action show, to replace this one.

I want to see Devious Maids, although I don't know if I'll have the chance to catch up since my schedule is a little hectic at the moment. However, I'm gonna make sure I keep up to date with Whodunnit, though. ;)

Sorry I had just realized I posted twice, as I hit the submit button. I will keep a more careful eye, no to do that in the future. But, I will say Burn Notice and Suits are great :)

I'm going to watch the new season of Dexter and hope that it comes to a great conclusion as it is the last season already.

It's also been a while since I last watched Burn Notice. I might catch up on in too. :D

Tuesday nights is Pretty Little Liars for me

I DVRed Under the Dome. Glad I did

I was looking for someone to mention Pretty Little Liars! So hooked on that show. I get pumped for Tuesday nights this summer. I missed last weeks episode though since I moved and didn't have cable. Need to catch up!

I used to watch Big Brother every season. Kind if slipped my mind this summer for some reason. Maybe I'll try to get into it. Always loved that show!

I am watching True Blood, Longmire, and Teen Wolf this summer.

One of these days, I really need to catch up on Burn Notice, too. It used to be one of my favorite shows, but I really disliked the Anson storyline and stopped watching partway through it. My husband says it got better again, though, so it looks like I have about two seasons worth of episodes to catch up on!

Since summertime shows are short-lived, I've decided to start a thread to discuss what you're watching this summer that doesn't already have its own topic.

I just checked out Mistresses on ABC and it's soapy enough to keep my attention for the summer. Apparently, it is a remake of a BBC series under the same title that aired a few years ago.

http://beta.abc.go.c...hows/mistresses

Anyone else watching? If not, what are you watching?

I'm watching Mistresses; there's nothing on in that slot right now and it has actors I like. I find the fact that the show exists more interesting than the theme of people messing around on their partners, but last night's episode was a big surprise - since when is two women kissing in the shower not considered soft porn? Primetime TV has come a long way!

That new show, Devious Maids, is kind of interesting as well (though for the same reasons).

I caught episode one of Devious Maids. Pretty decent. I can't bring myself to watch Mistresses. Too skanky for me. Surprised ABC  is actually going in such a direction with a Sunday night show lol.

Because no ones home dude lol. People are on vacay, holiday, hanging out, Summer School, traveling the world, etc. Networks won't don their best shows until fall/winter when the weather and "life" forces people to be doing the 9 to 5 and then come home to cook dinner and watch t.v. thing.

Well, where I live its always good weather.... we don't even have seasons in South Florida.... the summer of course is the hottest and we stay in with the a/c.... am I asking too much for a little entertainment?

I guess. Is Florida heat worse than New York heat? It's been pretty hot here the last few days. Especially this past weekend. I still think Florida has it worse. Being the Sunshine state and all. ;D

Fx's newest show The Bridge starts tonight! It airs at 10pm and it's an hour and a half long. The premise of the show is a police detective on the US side of the border works with a police detective on the Mexican side of the border to try and track down a serial kIller. It stars Diane Kruger, who was in both National Treasure movies. I think it looks pretty good, but then again, I am rarely disappointed with FX dramas.

Mistresses comes on Monday nights where I live. I am very surprised as well, not by the skank because that has gradually become more and more prevalent in primetime since the 1980s, beginning with the acceptance of the use of the word, "b*tch" on shows like Dynasty. What surprised me was the two women kissing in the shower - since when is that not considered soft porn?

Do they make out naked in the shower? Kissing in itself isn't particularly scandalous. Though it seems this kind of stuff is no longer relegated to cable television channels anymore. Maybe the big three feel they need to compete for viewers, but between this kind of programming and reality TV, it's starting to look like anything goes.
