Right now I'm watching Perception on TNT, which has gotten really good this season. I'm still watching Futurama when I actually remember that it's on. Having satellite is good, but it messes with my head because I always forget when my favorite shows are on.

No, they didn't make out naked. I thought you meant because they are same sex.  I am sorry I jumped to a conclusion without asking for clarification

I've been watching lots of tv this summer haha.

Shows I just finished watching are Orphan Black first season(VERY good show**), and orange is the new black first season(decent show by creators of weeds).

Also I'm watching true blood, dexter, falling skies (all amazing shows)

and defiance (decent show)

and also the mini series under the dome (also decent show but is said to only last one season)

Suits just came on this week. I have not watched it yet, but plan to later on today. I will come back to this forum, and let you all know how the season premier was. If anyone already has seen it, did you like it? If so why, and if not explain as well.

I saw suits yesterday, and I must say the season premier was very good. It makes you wonder how things are going to turn out between Harvy and Mike. Also I look forward to seeing Nigel and the other man duke it out, all season long.

I am surprised "Suits" has lasted this long. I think the good performances, and flashy surroundings are what has kept it going so long. If it were more Ally McBeal'ish, it might not still be around.

I've been enjoying Devious Maids more than I should. Tonight I actually watched at its original time instead of waiting for a repeat showing. This is much better than Mistresses which is not nearly as enjoyable to watch. It's definitely Desperate Housewives lite with a Latina spin. It's suitable summertime fare.

I've mainly been watching Futurama and American Dad.  When I feel like it, I'll watch episodes of Bleach, but that's not often as I can't be bothered to pull it up online.  As for Futurama, I am lucky to catch episodes as I can never get Comedy Central's schedule down.

Most of my favorite shows have wrapped up their current seasons, but I'm still hooked on "Catfish." I guess it's a guilty pleasure. I watched all the "Orange is the New Black" episodes in a matter of about two days, and I loved it! It's one of the better TV shows I've seen in a long, long time. I love the diverse cast, the acting, the character development, the setting... all of it! Summer always puts me in the mood to marathon TV shows, so I might check out "Top of the Lake" on Netflix. I heard it shares similarities with "Twin Peaks," which I'm a huge fan of.

I can't do Devious Maids. Comes on the same time as Falling Skies. I also found some of the characters annoying.

I've been trying to watch Graceland this summer so far. Since Burn Notice is in the last season I need something to fill the void.

While so far Graceland is ok at best, it's not really all that fun to watch for me right now. I try to give shows a chance. But I've caught every episode so far and I'm having a hard time keeping interested. So pretty soon ill be looking for something else to watch entirely

Since summertime shows are short-lived, I've decided to start a thread to discuss what you're watching this summer that doesn't already have its own topic.

I just checked out Mistresses on ABC and it's soapy enough to keep my attention for the summer. Apparently, it is a remake of a BBC series under the same title that aired a few years ago.

http://beta.abc.go.c...hows/mistresses

Anyone else watching? If not, what are you watching?

I'm watching Mistresses; there's nothing on in that slot right now and it has actors I like. I find the fact that the show exists more interesting than the theme of people messing around on their partners, but last night's episode was a big surprise - since when is two women kissing in the shower not considered soft porn? Primetime TV has come a long way!

That new show, Devious Maids, is kind of interesting as well (though for the same reasons).

I caught episode one of Devious Maids. Pretty decent. I can't bring myself to watch Mistresses. Too skanky for me. Surprised ABC  is actually going in such a direction with a Sunday night show lol.

Because no ones home dude lol. People are on vacay, holiday, hanging out, Summer School, traveling the world, etc. Networks won't don their best shows until fall/winter when the weather and "life" forces people to be doing the 9 to 5 and then come home to cook dinner and watch t.v. thing.

Well, where I live its always good weather.... we don't even have seasons in South Florida.... the summer of course is the hottest and we stay in with the a/c.... am I asking too much for a little entertainment?

I guess. Is Florida heat worse than New York heat? It's been pretty hot here the last few days. Especially this past weekend. I still think Florida has it worse. Being the Sunshine state and all. ;D

I believe its hotter here, because of the humidity. Your 95 degrees feels like our 85 degrees.... seriously I gaged it.

I am watching reruns of ABc's The Middle. There are two websites where I do this - mytvline.com and icraveepisodes.info. They have the entire 4 seasons for free online. I just fell in love with this show and feel like i am making up for lost time. They also have many other programs you can watch.

I know, right? I am so surprised, but I guess they feel they have to compete with cable and all the reality show madness. Then again, Scandal has been such a hit, maybe it's time for bad girls to have their day. Not saying I agree with it, but bad boys have been the rage since James Dean, if not before.

I love when I discover new shows like that too. Then, you can have your own marathon lol. The more seasons in they are the better. It happened to me on Big Bang Theory, and now its Hell on Wheels on AMC.  and Amish Mafia on TLC. AMish Mafia just seems really fake though.

It's September weather here in New York now though. Odd for August. This has been the least summery summer ever.

This summer I've been watching two of my favorite shows which are Teen Wolf and Pretty Little Liars. As I'm sure most know, summer is a pretty slow season for TV, so it's nice to have 1 or 2 shows to keep you occupied. This season of Teen Wolf has been great and what's even better is that the season has been extended from 12 to 24 episodes so the show will be back in January. Pretty Little Liars has also been great this season although as a whole I do feel that the show is starting to get really redundant.

I'm going to be watching Dexter and True Blood. I totally love Dexter and where the show is going (Yvonne Strahovski's role as a serial poisoner / serial killer / femme-fatale is even better than her role in Chuck).

As for True Blood how love watching it for the twists and turns (I read the Sookie Stackhouse books before watching the series) that make the TV series unique and different from the novels.

We had an unusually mild July. Not quite as humid and average high temperatures in the low 90s - which is miraculous, but even better has been the lack of storm activity in the Gulf of Mexico. I can't believe we are almost into the middle of August and the last named storm started with a D. Hope this keeps up.

That is kind of strange.... but its been quite a strange summer, weather wise... I wonder what is stirring up out there....
